Prototyping Response

Constructing a prototype was a great experience for our team because it allowed us to create a clear picture of our product. We decided we wanted to make a website similar to Rate My Professor but for neighborhoods and homes. Prior to making the prototype, we wanted to encompass many different features that did not really have a clear focus. By making the prototype, our team was able to figure out which features worked for our website and which did not. Using Wix had its own set of challenges, just because it was not as user friendly as I thought it would be. Fortunately, Hannah had used Wix before, so she steered making it at first and taught us all how to use it. It was also challenging which website templates were free on Wix because the website would not tell you until we wanted to publish the site. This meant that we would draft a website template only to find out that we would have to pay a subscription fee for it.
