Persona/Journey Map

It was really fun coming up with a persona for our project. This allowed us to put a face to our potential customers and helped us better understand them. It is a lot easier to come up with solutions for a real person versus a vague idea of a group of people or by just saying millennials.  The journey map allowed us to have better insights in how to market to “Rachel” and her housing needs. We know from the persona that she takes public transport and that that is important to her. We also now know that she wants to be close to her parents now that she is going to have kids in the near future. By having kids in the near future, she will be looking for features in the house that would be different from someone who is single with no plans to develop a family.
